CSU INDUSTRIES

When your business grows, so should your brand.

Have you ever found yourself standing in the middle of a retail store, brand showroom, hotel lobby, or especially-swanky restaurant and thinking, I wonder who actually makes these spaces? These are spaces that are complex, demanding, and exact, needing to squeeze recognizable corporate branding, functional equipment, and space for customers in between four walls that are all different sizes.

CSU Industries has been building commercial spaces like this since 1989, earning a reputation for quality construction, perfect precision, and actual accountability alongside complete turnkey service. But most of what CSU was saying focused on what they could do: architectural millwork, commercial casework, and branded environmental graphics. The issue? Simply saying what they do didn’t help them stand out in a competitive marketplace.

CSU had already done some internal soul searching before bringing us on to recentre their brand and messaging. They knew where they wanted to go but needed some help bringing that new direction to life. Luckily, they had us.

First came the logo: carefully crafted to communicate the precision and accuracy CSU was already known for. With the client coming to the table with a clear sense of what they wanted, we iterated on a series of logos and colourways to find the right expression of the brand. With so many excellent options, we made an easy choice pretty hard.

We constructed a tagline, too, that better explained why CSU had earned its reputation in the first place. To stand out, we emphasized CSU’s experience, excellence, and professionalism, giving audiences confidence that they have the skills and know-how to deliver.

CSU didn’t need us to build their reputation. They’d been doing that a long time. They needed a brand that finally did it justice. Now, with a clear identity and messaging in place, their team has the foundation they need to show up consistently across their marketing— sales materials, digital communications. trade shows, branded environments, and whatever they build next.
